Oscar Time Out Of 2012 Grand National
2011 Grand National runner-up Oscar Time has been ruled out of this year’s race after suffering tendon damage.
Trainer Martin Lynch stated earlier today that the horse will not run again this season but as the injury is slight connections are hopeful that the horse will make a full recovery and be back for the Grand National in 2013.
The eleven-year-old gelding had made one racecourse appearance this season with a very respectable return over hurdles at Thurles behind Zaidpour.
Bookmakers had been quoting Oscar Time at around the 16/1 mark for the 2012 Grand National and with the recent setback to Beshabar as well punters are now turning to 2011 winner Ballabriggs who is the 16/1 clear favourite with

Nooooo!
Thats the problem with anti post bets you win some, you lose some. I guess he would have had loads of weight to carry anyway. One less for Junior and WER to worry about!

Gosh,…. well there you go stress and strain of the GN strikes again. Real shame, looks like last yr really was his big chance and how nearly it came off!
Horses that haven’t been out much this season and have run a marathon the year before, have to be a concern at this stage.

Its a shame about Oscar Time, but wasn’t pinning my hopes on him anyway as after last year’s run he was too exposed.
