  2. Mike N says:

    Tomorrow’s picks…

    1.30 Blaklion 7-1 ew AP
3.10 Gas Line Boy 10-1 ew AP
3.30 Sugar Baron ew, Doing Fine ew

  3. Mike N says:

    Will try a TV treble…

Malaya/ Brain Power or Finians/ Fox Norton

  4. Seven Towers says:

Regarding On The Blind Side’s win yesterday he looks more a horse for the 3 mile novice at Aintree. That’s his race. He seems to hit a flat spot every time he runs so he looks vulnerable to the best of the Irish at Cheltenham, so place prospects look to be his best hope in my opinion. Pile on for Aintree though if the very best of the Irish swerve Aintree for Punchestown.

  5. Seven Towers says:

12:45 Pop Rockstar and Oscars Prospect

  6. Seven Towers says:

12:50 Martello Park and A Hardy Nailer

  7. Seven Towers says:

Get in. Look at me backing favourites. How amazing am I?

  8. Seven Towers says:

How amazing am I still. GET IN. The old 1-2 sucker punch.

  9. Seven Towers says:

You’re only as good as your last selection. Turns out I’m pretty amazing!

  10. Pollyowls says:

Greetings all… thought it was time I showed my face!!
Just about my favourite day’s racing of the year… 2 races over the National fences, plus the London National and the Welsh GN Trial.
With Twister’s horses in such good form, I have to side with BLAKLION in the Becher
CAPTAIN REDBEARD is a tentative selection in the Grand Sefton
In the London National, I hope Houblon goes close but I’m interested in THE HAPPY CHAPPY
BUYWISE would be hard to beat at Chepstow if he’s anywhere near his best

As for the season so far, I was particularly taken with Cogry’s win at the Open meeting and also Whisper’s brave run in the Hennessy – I hope Hendo will change his mind and think GN rather than GC…
The rest has left me rather confused so far… hopefully I’ll get some more clarity as the season progresses

    Good luck for today…

  11. Kevski111 says:

Westerner point e/w unexposed and could be let in lightly if taking to the fences.

  12. kj says:

Here we go team! wonder who likes running in a very icy pond!
    welcome back Pollyowls.

  13. Mike N says:

    hi Pollyowls :D

  14. Mike N says:

    I did say I was confident ;)

  15. marko says:

    WD Blaklion backers

  16. Mike N says:

Who said Gavin Sheehan was a crap jockey. Not having a bit of it ;)

  17. kj says:

    well done fav backers ;)

  18. Mike N says:

cheers all. he put in some great leaps, kj would’ve enjoyed that.

  19. Pollyowls says:

That’s as easier a win over these fences as I’ve ever seen…
Will he stay in the National, though…? Also think he’ll not be far off top weight now…

  20. Mike N says:

Too much weight for the GN I would say Pollyowls.

  21. Mike N says:

    GN win I mean.

  22. Mike N says:

some 2 mile reputations up in smoke there.

  23. kj says:

Wow that disrupted my breathing, what a pace!

Great performance from top weights in becher, gotta feel sorry for TLS forever ey.
Sizing C ended up hating it which surprised me (as did Young Master getting round ;) ) ..hit the chair and Id like to think the jockey would have pulled up if bechers brook was still anything to jump.
I actually thought Winders looked really up for it, didn’t see what happened. Goodtoknow stopped quickly.

  24. Seven Towers says:

    It was amazing old me.

  25. kj says:

not that amazing,..all favourites so far 7T ;)

  26. Seven Towers says:

A Hardy Nailer? 7/1? Amazing winner.

  27. Kevski111 says:

Well done winners, good call on Blaklion Mike. Last throw of the dice on SOUTHFIELD THEATRE in the London national.

  28. Mike N says:

    ta Kev

  29. Mike N says:

I was thinking of going for Fidux ew in the next but decided to leave it as too trappy.

  30. kj says:

ok 7 ‘ammaaazinng’ I suppose theres plenty more adjectives if you continue your run ;)
    and winners is winners.

  31. Mike N says:

right to leave it. wd marko

  32. marko says:

Get in Hare :) WD 7T on your winners ;)

  33. marko says:

    Cheers Mike,.:)

  34. Mike N says:

ST you got your wish. Cloudy Dream running over 3 miles. Question is have you backed him? :)

  35. marko says:

Ar Mad 12/1 ew in the Tingle

  36. Pollyowls says:

Is it being too sentimental to hope Cloudy Dream wins the next..?

  37. kj says:

I know Polly, at the moment its looking like a lesson in how slow can you jump a fence

  38. marko says:

Good horse Def Red , didn’t back it this time price too short

  39. Pollyowls says:

Winner’s a good horse… don’t forget how unlucky he was in the National.
Don’t think that told us anything about Cloudy Dream’s ability to stay 3 miles..

  40. Mike N says:

Tom George got back to me and said my Welsh National pick would come on for today in his prep. Will be interesting to see if he can run a nice race.

  41. Mike N says:

blimey, he won the trial. don’t think he will be 25-1 now. ;)

  42. kj says:

oh he won, usually on the tele that race isn’t it?

  43. Mike N says:

just switched channel and watched the closing stages on Attheraces kj.

  44. Seven Towers says:

No I didn’t. The thing with gambling is to quit while you’re ahead of the game. Then go again tomorrow. That’s an amazing piece of advice right there.

  45. Mike N says:

get in Gas Line at 10-1!

  46. kj says:

    YYYYYEEESSSS! miraculous!

  47. marko says:

WD Mike .shame As De Mee unseated for my double

  48. marko says:

    WD KJ

  49. kj says:

my second pick woulda been Ultragold, which would of been ammmmaaazzing! ey can’t believe Gassy won!

  50. Mike N says:
