Who will be the top tipster on Grand National Guide?

After months of debate the final few days of waiting are upon us before the 2009 Aintree Grand National and to celebrate we are running a special Grand National Tipster Competition.

Contrary to earlier reports we will be having prizes of the following:

Winner: £15

Runner Up: £10

Third Place: £5

HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH SENDING OUT PRIZES IN THE PAST YOU MUST REGISTER WITH OUR SISTER COMPANY OLBG TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A PRIZE. THIS THEN ALLOWS US TO MAKE A SIMPLE PAYMENT INTO YOUR OLBG ACCOUNT WHICH CAN BE WITHDRAWN BY PAYPAL OR MONEYBOOKERS.

ANYONE WHO HAS NOT REGISTERED WITH OLBG PRIOR TO THE START OF THE COMPETITION WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A PRIZE.

Competition Rules:

Pick four horses who you think will perform well in the Grand National.

If your selection finishes in the first ten places it will be awarded an equivalent amount of points as outlined below:

1st = 150 points
2nd = 120 points
3rd = 100 points
4th = 80 points
5th = 70 points
6th = 60 points
7th = 50 points
8th = 40 points
9th = 30 points
10th = 20 points

20 points will be DEDUCTED for any horse you select that doesn’t complete the course.

Please also include a tie-break of your suggestion of the winning distance.

Only one entry per person and NO CHANGES ALLOWED, even in the event of a non-runner. If you end up with a non-runner that horse will score 0.
