Got to agree with you there Systems.
Great race to watch but not sure Our Vic is Gold Cup class and whilst I'm sure Kauto's connections will make excuses about mistakes over the riding tactics etc yesterday I think Kauto's jumping frailties would be too much of a worry for me to consider backing him at likely short odds. Roll on the Gold Cup double for 'The Tank' in 2009.

The end of Kauto Star as a Gold Cup standard horse I think even if he was tired from Cheltenham (maybe fresh he could do the King George next year if Denman is not involved). Some bad jumps even before that last fece (or was it the 2nd last).
It must be Denman for Gold Cup 2009 if he can keep his form.

Interesting day's racing today - yesterday showed it can be beneficial to take on the Cheltenham winners. As wacky pointed out on another thread, Greenbridge has got to have a good chance today, he could be a very decent horse and I'm more than happy to take on Captain Cee Bee. He'll go off very short after Binocular's success yesterday and looks no value whatsoever with 8lb penalty. Not sure track will suit either. Also think that Petitfour has a real good ew shout at 14s ish in the second race. Tazbar probably a worthy favourite having missed Cheltenham and beating of Whiteoak reads well but no value either. Petitfour is on the upgrade, lightly raced, missed the festival and is double the price he should be.
